Steps for Termination of the Affiliate Agreement
Upon termination of an affiliate agreement, either by the affiliate or by QAT Global, a series of steps are typically taken to ensure a smooth and clear conclusion of the partnership. These steps are designed to protect the interests of both parties and to ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement.
Steps Taken Upon Termination
1. Notification of Termination
- The party initiating the termination should provide written notice to the other party, as per the notice period and terms outlined in the affiliate agreement.
2. Final Commission and Payment Settlement
- QAT Global will calculate and pay any outstanding commissions owed to the affiliate, based on the terms of the agreement and the commissions earned up to the date of termination.
- This process includes a review of any pending transactions or leads that may be eligible for commission.
3. Deactivation of Affiliate Account
- The affiliate’s account on QAT Global’s Affiliate Portal (https://partnerships.qat.com/) platform will be deactivated.
- The affiliate will lose access to all tools, resources, and marketing materials provided by QAT Global.
4. Return or Destruction of Confidential Information and Materials
- The affiliate is required to return or securely destroy any confidential information or materials belonging to QAT Global that they possess.
- This includes marketing materials, client lists, documentation, and any data received during the course of the agreement.
5. Revocation of License to Use IP and Marketing Materials
- Any license granted to the affiliate to use QAT Global’s intellectual property, trademarks, or marketing materials will be revoked.
- The affiliate must cease all use of QAT Global’s branding, trademarks, and marketing materials in their promotions or communications.
6. Communication to Clients or Leads
- If necessary, QAT Global may communicate the termination of the affiliate agreement to any relevant clients or leads to avoid confusion.
- This communication will be handled professionally to maintain the reputation of both QAT Global and the affiliate.
7. Final Review and Closure
- A final review will be conducted to ensure all aspects of the termination process are completed.
- Any outstanding issues or queries from the affiliate will be addressed.
8. Feedback and Exit Interview (Optional)
- An optional exit interview or feedback session may be conducted to understand the reasons for termination and to gather insights for program improvement.
9. Documentation and Record Keeping
- All steps taken during the termination process will be documented for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
10. Post-Termination Obligations
- Both parties will be reminded of any post-termination obligations outlined in the affiliate agreement, such as non-disclosure, non-solicit, or non-compete clauses, if applicable.
